Customer exposure ceiling
Whether a widget is allowed to reach a customer at all, across every Class A account. This application does not decide which customer sees what — that is decided per account in Strategic Account Management and stays there.

Strategic Account Management still reads its own hard-coded portal-capable constant, so closing a widget on this screen does not yet stop anyone in that application. A change request has been raised to make it read this ceiling. Nothing on this screen should be read as enforcement today.

The ceiling
Recorded decision — Anca Sandu, 10 September 2026. This application sets the ceiling only: whether a widget may reach a customer at all, across every Class A account. Which customer sees what on a given account is decided in Strategic Account Management and is not editable here.
- Closing a widget means two things. Nobody in the internal application can switch that widget on for any customer, and any customer it is currently shown to loses it straight away.
- Reopening does not restore. Reopening makes the widget allowed again; it does not put back the accounts that had it. Each account must be switched on again deliberately in the internal application. Recorded decision — Anca Sandu, 10 September 2026.
- Suppressed, not deleted. When a ceiling closes, the per-account exposures for that widget are kept and marked suppressed by the ceiling, carrying the administrator's name and the time, so the record still shows what was affected and what would need switching on again.
Every widget kind starts allowed because Strategic Account Management marks all twenty-two of its kinds portal capable in code today. That starting point is transcribed from that application, not a decision taken here.
